I had it factory reseted today and when i plugged it in to back it up, the HTC sync manager just made a new backup instead I cant seem to find the backup from yesterday. There's even an option (under Transfer content in Settings on the HTC One) to use Bluetooth to transfer directly from an iPhone to the One, but I couldn't get it working. Hi I backed up my HTC yesterday to HTC Sync Manager thinking itd be safe. For HTC devices that use HTC Sense 3.6 or older, please read. Everything is safely backed up and ready to be updated to your phone. Once synced, you can easily manage and organize with HTC Sync Manager on your computer. You can also sync all of your contacts, calendar events, bookmarks, and documents as well.

HTC has made it very simple for Android and iPhone users alike to transfer content and data over to the HTC One. HTC Sync Manager is a free application for your computer that makes it easy to sync all of your media to and from your computer with your HTC phone. Do not disconnect your device until this has finished. Wrong! If you look in the lower-right hand corner of the screen, you'll see the current progress for the sync. You may think the process is already finished and you can disconnect your phone and go on about your day. Immediately after clicking on Start you'll be redirected back to the landing page for HTC Sync Manager. Click Start when you're ready to begin syncing the selected items to your One. You can opt to have the sync replace all current content on the HTC One, or just merge any synced items. Next select from the listed categories: Contacts, Calendar, Messages, Camera Roll, Wallpaper, and Bookmarks.
Select the most recent backup, and click on OK. HTC Sync Manager should automatically find all iPhone backup files and list them in chronological order.
Connect your iPhone to the computer, select "This computer," deselect the option to encrypt the backup if it's selected, and click on Back Up Now.Īfter the backup is complete, disconnect the iPhone and reconnect the HTC One to the computer. This doesn't have to be the same computer you normally back up on, so long as it has the latest version of iTunes installed. You'll be prompted to back up your iPhone using iTunes on the same computer. Once the software is installed and running, with your One connected to your computer, click on More and then the iPhone TRANSFER option just below the top menu.
